Foster Families
Litters of kittens, cats, and Cocker Spaniels of all ages (from bottle feeders to senior adults) are in need of foster care - we provide all medical support, food, and cover other expenses. If you would like to open your home temporarily to a dog or a cat in need, please let us know! Check out our foster program page and sign up now!
Paperwork
We are looking for someone who can handle weekly paperwork for our adoption events, AND keep records and paperwork up to date--could be a cooperative effort between Adoption, Foster, and Medical coordinators (see below).
Medical Coordinator
Schedule and coordinate transport for spay/neuter appts, track and give vaccinations, worming, triage medical problems...
Foster Home Coordinator for Cats/Kittens
Find foster homes, help place new cats with foster homes, supply foster homes with food, supplies...
Adoption Event Coordinator
Dependable volunteers needed to help transport equipment and find permanent homes for our cats, Saturday or Sunday, from 12 pm to 4 pm, at The Pet House in Goleta. Duties include scheduling adoption events and volunteers, and arranging for cats to be there (from foster homes). Equipment pick up/return in Goleta requires a large car or truck. Lots of cat and kitten cuddling!
Adoption Event Helpers
Help the Coordinator talk to people and find permanent homes for our cats and kittens, either Saturday or Sunday, from 12 pm to 4 pm, at The Pet House in Goleta. Lots of cat and kitten cuddling!
Cat and Dog Taxi
If you enjoy driving and have a somewhat flexible schedule this position might be just up your alley. We need people to help pick up and drop off cats and cockers to and from Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, Ventura and Camarillo. You can choose which days you can be available, which areas you are most comfortable with, and if you prefer cats or dogs. We will provide any equipment you need.

Crafty Crafters
Can you donate something that we can add to our special sale items? We need you if you love to make cool stuff we can sell at different events throughout the year. One of our wonderful volunteers donates to us beautiful fleece blankets for the dogs and cats, and hand-made cat toys. What is your specialty? Is it dog or cat related?
